Our story

Creative Concepts is an event planning, management and design business, offering a variety of services for local, destination & virtual events.  We produce events for parties of 2 to 2,000 +, from annual galas, fundraisers, retreats, fashion shows, conventions and trade shows; to birthdays, showers, weddings and more! We also design customized papery to tie all the event details together!

Jennifer began her career in event planning more than twenty years ago while she was working at a marketing job designing advertising, promoting and planning for the business. As well, she enjoyed doing graphic design work for many other types of events, creating invitations, unique labels/tags, signage, etc., which quickly led her to planning those events as well. It was then she discovered her true passion for planning events and bringing the two components in design and planning together!  In 2007, Jennifer officially launched Creative Concepts; she has directed numerous events with tremendous success while building a powerful reputation, which led her to being able to focus on her business full time since 2013.  

She has earned her education in Marketing, and Event Management. Jennifer is a certified wedding coordinator and destination wedding coordinator, through the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada; and recently received her certification in Virtual Event & Meeting Management, through ELI. She is a member of event planner associations, and is continuously educating herself by attending various workshops and event prof conventions, which has also helped her build a wide event industry network around North America and Internationally. 

Jennifer comes from a small town in Saskatchewan, and has worked within the Agriculture industry for many years, which includes being involved in major Ag trade shows, and working with many of the leaders in our Agriculture industry and community.

Today, Jennifer is best known for her creative ideas, attention to detail and successful execution of the events she’s involved in. Jennifer's caring personality and calm demeanor helps her clients focus on their goals, as she creates successful, trendsetting events, designed for their occasion and strategic needs. She manages all aspects of the event coordinating process. No matter the number of guests, Jennifer's events are well organized, individualized and unforgettable.
